hookin up a tach

i got a 670x and have it in polaris wedge chassis just wondering if it possible to hook the stock wedge tach up to the motor

You can try it, but the Doo may very well have a different pulse than the Polaris Wedge.

How to explain the pulse. It is an electronic pulse that is used to determine RPM, it is factored. For example the factor for the Polaris is 6, but the Doo may use a different factor to determine the RPM, thus the tach for the Wedge would not work. If you used all the wiring for the Doo it would be best to get a Doo tach.
