I owned a 2016 honda pioneer 1000 5 seater, it was a solid machine and in the 250 hrs or so I had put on it, it gave me zero trouble before I sold it. Its not ur rally flying around corners kind of machine but it is dependable and transmission is awesome, power was good for the size of the machine and diff lock was handy to have. It u dont need to haul down logging roads or hit big whoops I would reccomend the machine it is a smooth trail machine.
I’d say the Honda pioneer is between a fast Rzr type and a slow Kubota Utv. The fold down seats and a short wheelbase and it fits in a bed of a pickup are nice features of the 700. Best machine ever for my needs. No clutch or belt. It’s a car type transmission.
If going with one go with the 1000. Been with a few 700 and with the slightest aggressive tire they won’t even spin the tires! Brother in-law has a 700. Had 4500km and the transmission is done. And it doesn’t leave the farm.
