Me and my wife were first on scene....if you can afford a rig rocket,huge 5th wheel and toys YOU CAN AFFORD TO PULL TANDEM PROPERLY,I don't know how you lost your back trailer,and I don't phuckn care anymore,but I'm sure you could have done better,now all kinds of lives are affected.RIP

The grandmother who lost her life was coming home from watching her young grandsons hockey game. My son plays on the boys team and needless to say many folks are still trying to process this tragedy. Thanks Rohaha for doing all you could that night.

Never ever thought that was a good idea towing tandem, maybe this will get some awareness out and maybe put a stop to it, not a good situation at all

My post was intended to raise awareness of the hazards if you don't do things right, not to ban anything.People have screwed up doing every activity possible, including pulling just one trailer, you can't ban everything.
Not getting a proper bumper and hitch welded on?unbalanced load?RV makers getting extra profits off paper thin metal?poor quality chains,princess auto hitches,not paying attention,those are the things I wanted to raise awareness on.Its only going to get worse as poor quality Chinese stuff keeps rolling in.

Never ever thought that was a good idea towing tandem, maybe this will get some awareness out and maybe put a stop to it, not a good situation at all

it’s sad very sad but I’ve towed tandem for a long time now and never had a problem, yes things can happen but there’s a lot of idiots outthere

No different than anyone over loading a truck, or forgetting to hook tongue to receiver right


Can't blame the tandem units as cause


I did it for years and years, over built the trailer hitch, over strapped sh!t on the trailer

Worked for a trailer place for about 3 years maintaining and fixing trailers very few people know nothing about maintenance there is a lot of trailers on the road with no brakes and safety chains had customers say to me never used chains because they don’t want the trailer hitting the truck after it breaks loose lot of them don’t have brake controls and don’t know what a break away switch is for

I currently work at a trailer place and deal with professional drivers on a daily basis. It amazes me too no end how many professions can’t back up a trailer let alone non professionals pulling tandem shorter trailers that require a lot more skill and presision, Don’t ban em, just train em !Special license is a start!

Exactly i work in a truck shop and see lots of heavy duty trailers come in that are towed behind pickups that are just in sad shape.. If you want to pull a trailer of any especially the bigger stuff then you should be trained and have to fill out a pre trip just like the big boys do. Would make people a little more cautious when their name is on a pretrip every time for issues.. Have a trailer that just left towed behind a pickup hauling 2 large jet fuel containers. $8000 in repairs later it was road worthy, no brakes, no suspension, no brake away, among other things
