high idle

put on a slp air horn kit on my 2003 800 rmk now it is idleing high,around 3000 rpm,flip the choke lever goes back too about 1700 rpm ,any thoughts should i richen the carbs,

Yeah sounds like a lean condition. Chances are now that you have changed your air box you are getting more air at idle making you lean out. Either that or you may simply have an obstruction in a pilot jet. Also be sure that when you swithched out your air box you got the carbs seated right again. Sometimes if you dont quite get them back in it will suck excess air an lean you out as well.

If you put one or two sizes larger pilot jets it will cure the problem. I've delt with this before.

Ya, there are a lot of tracks in the ditches and the slews are good to. Chickacakew lk. is froze over good and saw sleds out today. I didn't get out for a ride yet, to buisy fixing other sleds and doing restors on old ones. I need to change a trailing arm and shocks on my xc first tho. To cold to work out side still.

i also have a 1979 ski doo citation for my kids great sled ,just rebuilt the motor
