Hey people thought I would ask if anyone has had this issue with there quad? I have a 08 700 grizzly and I cant seem to start it in any gear but park ? I couldnt start it in neutral either until I changed my linkage. Once I have it in high or low I cant seem to start it at all. I bought a sensor switch by my brake and it still wont start. As soon as I put it in park or neutral it fires up right away. Any thoughts? Back light doesnt do anything when brakes are on !!

had the same problem with my wifes 700 grizzly.turned out to be a bad switch on the lh handleb ar for the brake.about 16.00 bucks from yamaha.
pull the plastic cover off and you can access it easy.to test it,cross the 2 wires going to it.

Hey, ya thats the same switch I replaced today it was 15.00 from yamaha thinking that was the issue but still didnt work so now Im stumped !!

The brake switch sends a signal to the brake light, a splice wire goes back to the ECU as well. I would check the wiring from the switch to the splice
