I just started snow boarding the mountains last year and have taken my kids to marmot twice and am looking for a place to take them at christmas but am looking for a new place to take them in alberta don,t have enough time to head in to bc.

silver summit north of edson pretty low budget but still fun and cheap

It is Christmas so be prepared to wait in lines no matter where you go...That being said Canada Olympic Park is a great hill to go ski in town...C.O.P would be your best choice short of the mountains. Or you could drive the 83 miles to banff to go ski and deal with the lines.
