I would make sure your slides are in sync and returned to idle position, just look inside the carbs for this. Also check and be sure the cable is seated proper in the throttle, youll know when it clicks into the seat. Or you may want to be sure your extension is assembled correct. I believe these do not require any adjustment after extending your oem cable other than the thumb screw at the lever or the top of the carbs. Look over the cable thoroughly.

take your air box off or your cleaners and watch the roundslides lift as you pull the throttle. Better yet note the location of them with the cable seated in the lever and then remove it from the lever and see if there is any difference. the extension shouldnt change the settings.

I would try to determine whether or not the cable is being pulled by the new extension. I cant help you tune it from here. what brand is the extension?

easy, those are all valid checks but they may not be why your flooding. can you take a pic of the extension open it up too if you can maybe something in wrong.

yea i could do that...i followed the directions from powermadd ...my throttle does feel tight but it always has...and i dont think it should be the pistons..tehy felt like they had compression...but it only floods after a few pulls...i really dont think it should have to do with the cables...maybe ill see what new plugs do? anything else?

This setup may just lift your slides enuogh to throw of your setup. You may look at backking the tension off on both carbs, egually tho. once your airbox is off just watch inside the carbs you should see the slides lift together as you pull the throttle also check your oil injection is in sync aswell.

Im assuming the tension on the new setup is lifting the slides too much allowing more air than needed too start. You may need to turn the adjust screws on top of your carbs in untill the slides bottom out on the air screws. In essence your removing the tension brought on by the new extension. then try to start the sled.
