So here is where I'm at as of tonight.

1. Missing suspension part...helps to have a wife that is a machinist...thanks Honey for making the part that I needed so bad. :thumbsup2:
2. I now have the drivers and the track in place.
3. It's extremely "tight" in the tunnel with the 16" in place. Tomorrow I have a bunch of Rivets to grind down, some will need to be replaced with stainless steel "shortys" rivets other wise the track will wear on them. The photo of the track shows it hanging off the rivets where it's too tight.
4. It's all about "luck", I was checking things out and noticed that both my rear drop brackets were broken (notice the broken weld and that was the good one).
5. A quick test fit of the suspension...it fits...whewwww.
Looks like she got the short end of the stick in the marriage thing:D:D:D

Well all I can say is she's a good woman. She work hard, "Loves" her job and cleans up real well...I mean, real well.
The Machinist part was a bonus (years after we were Married).

So we have the suspension and track in place now. There is more space than I expeced in the tunnel. I did grind a lot of rivets down...just in case.
Tonight I will get the drop brackets installed, drill the holes and plate for the rail setback (a bit different than before because of the 03 suspension) and hopefully take her for a rip down the street. The tunnel extension may have to wait until I get back from the Christmas Ride because I need to get my son's 700 track installed this week (it has a tunnel extension to do as well). Unfortunately the "Family" part of the Christmas season will get in the way of the work load. Will post a few pictures once the 800 is running.

Yep, she's a good woman..no complaints...she might have some though.
Best part is she doesn't mind me sledding at all, including our annual Valentines ride (WITHOUT WIVES). Who is Juan the pool cleaner and what is it does when I dont own a pool??? LOL...lol

Well I finally have my sled together.
It was a 2001 - 151 x 15" track.
It now has a 2003 Vertical Escape suspensions, custom 156" rails, 8" wheel kit, 159" x 16" x 2" track. The track fits nicely without a tunnel extension.
It's been challenging getting it all to fit and work properly...but it all seem good now.
Next step, test in Valemont over the Christmas break

Looks great bunny, glad to see that I'm not the only one still running an edge.lol. I asked Santa for a new sled, but it might be tough slidding it down the chimney:D

Thanks guys, I was really surprised that the track would fit without a tunnel extension, I guess with keeping the original 9 tooth drivers and the larger wheels the track doesn't get much longer. I didn't change the gearing yet so I'll have to see how he runs "as is"
I'm really pumped about seeing how the old girl does in the mountains now. She's a bit of a sleeper with the 151 tag still being on the tunnel and the hood is trashed from years of rolling down the mountains. Darn near everything else has been replaced now so she's "good to go"
I too would like a new sled, but there are other priorities in life.

Thanks to Summitric for his assistance an used of his garage at home ot complete everything.

Will post some photos next week while in the mountains.
