So today I found out that my 2009 summit 154 rev xp has got big problems.the shop says the frame is toast along with the left shock and a-arms. So I guess I'm looking around for a frame. I got quoted 5-6 grand to repair fully *ouch*! and I've only got fire and theft on the insurance, should of could of would of but for some reason didn't get collison.so I need frame, a-arms and shocks. Anybody know good deals anywheres? Maybe someones parting out their sled? Any help would be appreciated. Gotta get Betsy going for winter.thanks.

When you say frame do you mean E or S module? Shock and A arms should be easy this year two in our group are doing the front susp. upgrade. (narrow) $654.99 for the kit in the Doo catalog. E and S you should be able to do yourself for less than a grand (depends how bad)

there is a guy on kijiji with a complete 07 with 1 hole gone in the engine. he was asking 2200 i think it was. no pics though so dont really know what your getting. lots of 05 and up chassis out there but guys want just as much for a chassis as they do for a running machine it seems.

07 was the first year of the xp i thought. regardless engine and elictrics could be swapped over for a fraction of fixing the 09

What do you mean E or S module of the frame? I'm not sure of the term. Probably newer at this than most people on here.

When you say frame bent and a arm to most on here we think the E module is bent. Its part of the frame in front of the tunnel that the a arms bolt to. If you hit a tree/rock you normally dont bend the "frame" back of this removeble part. Its alot of labour but not terrible. If you took a month to do it thats still worth the 3-4 grand you save. Do you have pics that will help us understand what parts are bent?

oops saw no pics in your post. Go by the shop and get some? It also is nice to have a xp to look at for reassembly for the first go. Posnick can probably agree you will need alot of these:beer: to bribe "friends" into helping.

If you decide to repair it yourself I'd be willing to help in my free time. I've never worked on sleds before and would like to learn some. I replaced the frame in my outlander last winter and I have done a handful of work on vehicles.
