Hello.

Im going to put my XM 163 on steroids.
But cant really figure out what to do.
So please any and all inputs will help.
Fore now i only have a clutch kit.
But have been looking in to bigbores (over Bores) for the etec 800.
I would really like to hear personal experience and tips and tricks.
My only criteria is that it cant be super expensive and
somewhat reliable.
So please help a swede out.

Cheap, reliable and more power....

Those 3 words don't belong in the same sentence.

These new sleds are so good out of the box these days your not Gona get much more out of them unless your prepared to drop some big cash on quality kits, just grip it and rip it bud

Leave it stock or go low boost turbo. Don't fawk with anything in between your wasting time money and precious sledding days

Dont understand a low boost turbo. You have all the issues/maintenance of a turbo but less hp. Seems like if your taking the plunge you might as well have the big one for the extra $1500

I do agree, however- at the time of purchasing they can save 2k from non intercooler vs intercooled- Might be easier on your wallet and conscious, but in the long run i think it would be harder. Thats why i went with the intercooler kit, and plan to run min boost (7lbs) we'll see how that goes. lol ;)

Shocks are cheaper than a treadmill. :D

treadmill also makes a GREAT clothes hanger though.....

Can find a pretty good deal on a treadmill for the price of a set of Raptors lol.

Treadmills do make great drying racks too!
Everyone talks about keeping their sleds as light as possible.. Losing pounds is by far the cheapest, but not the easiest way...

The raptor shocks seem great.
Only problem for me there is the customs fee.
Shipping is ok,but the customs is where they get you.

Hey T-Flex. I'm curious what the customs fees are for Sweden(assuming by your location)? We've sold quite a few sets in that area but no one has ever called or emailed to tell us what the fees are. I think it usually costs about $60 to ship a set to Sweden by USPS.

Hey Jonathon.
I think the customs fee for snowmobile parts is about 30% tax+5% sales tax according to the customs web page.
Thats the only reason that i havent pulled the trigger on raptor shocks, cause with 30% fees its not worth it.
If i knew that the package wouldnt get caught in customs it would be a different story, but you never know.
