just wondering , i have an mx helmet , full face , can i just buy some goggles? i notice in the vids everybody uses what looks like mx helmets but maybe heavier insulation? i dont know , will my mx helmet work with goggles? or do i need to buy a new one?

You need a sled first, you'll look silly walking around in your helmet without one. Me I use my open face helmets (MX Style) 95% of the time and my full face (fully enclosed) the rest of the time when it's really cold out.

We brought a pair in for show and tell at the SSA show in Saskatoon last weekend, very nice googles. Production models are still a few weeks out.

And get good goggles, i use 509 goggles and there decent, nice and big so i can wear my glasses. Just seems like once you take em off, then put them back on outside, its a sheet of ice.

There are many brands. Take your helmet to the shop you are going to buy from and make sure they fit. Not all goggles will fit all scull buckets. Try Scott or Okley also.

PS 509 is a brand name.

yah , tried them in the winter , they fog in like 5 mins! i like using a heated visor , works real well.
