Need some letters written in support AGAINST more heliskiing in my backyard up Kaslo way.
This one mostly affects the sled skiers and ski touring crowd but nonetheless, a vote for heliskiing is just like voting for Notley- suicide. Hopefully that gets some laughs but seriously, that terrain is pretty front country and offers great access for ski touring and sledding folk alike. Otherwise this takeover of backcountry access just pushes us Sledders and skiers further and further increasing OUR risk.
