Full chew before you arch out oler1234, what’s your track speed? Maxwell just tells me what I want to hear!

full arch track speeds.... pfffft son I go over the mountain every time. 175 turbski is a billy goat of steroids.


honestly I don’t know. Never had a situation where I need to turn out yet. In the last snow fall it was still 80. The 175 is just entertaining how quick it stays on plains and just flys everywhere even in these conditions

Tough to see that sort of trackspeed, find a steep hill and let off the throttle, just before the sled stops moving pin the throttle and observe the trackspeed before before the sled starts to gain any ground speed. The track will be fully loaded.

The tests That I have done on my last trip in 4 ft of fresh, were 45-46mph, this is an exciting sled to ride.

FYI, for Anyone that wants to change their sled to MPH it can be done in the settings of the new gauge.

This last spring when the 20.5s came out we did a few speed test on Dean B sled, on the gas drop hill in a good 3 feet of fresh, and max speed was reset each time of the three trials done. from previous trials on this it takes a good size hill to finalize max speed, we had two 97km and one 98.. two different riders

latter that week redline grabed there new demo and we also had it out and made same speed as dean’s.. we use that as a base line now for improvements.. not sure if once broke in there is more to be had, but sure could be, sleds were rich I recall

A one time peak of 97km/hr doesn't mean that is the track speed. I guess anything is possible but 165hp doesn't correlate to 60mph track speeds.

I was surprised it could do that as well, but remember it was fresh powder, and skis in air not utilizing full track, and a 165” instead of 174..

same day the 175 Sibler was at 100-102 and redline over the 120km..

You completely missed the point of his post. The 850T would feel like a tooth pick compared to your pro climb. That wasn’t the point.

In technical terrain, turbo feels a bit more top heavy than the na g4. It’s not about body size, it’s about the balance of the machine top down. If you’re a guy that puts a can on and can’t feel the imbalance, you won’t get his post.

Not sure if you replied to the wrong post or misread what I wrote there fella, I don't have a cat, haven't for many years. Maybe to a smaller person the 850T feels heavier but I do not notice it, I am not running a can on the 21 nor did I on the 20.5, no need to, they are near perfectly balanced, I am very aware of the imbalance a can can create, but I'm fairly confused about what your point is?
