It's time to replace the torsion springs in my Summit. I know the race manual shows you can go from the standard white to a red spring but I am wondering is there are any other options? I have heard of people using springs frlm a larger sled (2 up mode) to get better results. Is this an option? I am about 6' tall and weigh around 245 lbs. Thanks for the help!

You might be able to run the Doo square springs as well, not sure about the spring rates though, but this was the exact thing I did on my Cat. Just replaced the spring tensioners and holders on the rails and the susp arm from the round ones to the square ones. The 08 springs were longer so I just used a hole that was farther down the rail (towards the back of the sled) to mount the bottom spring holder and then adjusted the tension as necessary. You could drill a new hole if you needed as well, I just lucked out.

Doo sells springs affectinatly known as "FAT BOY" springs. I installed them on my 2000 summit for my son he's 6'4' 275lbs. They work quite well for him.
