So we went out for a great day of riding around whitecourt today just my chick and I and my head gasket went and while I was stuck it heated up to 192 degrees F.... should I replace the pistons and rings or just throw A new head gasket and go? its a 06 600ho rmk (polaris).

I would at a minimum check the cylinders for out of round and check the head to make sure its not warped. FYI it has no gasket just o-rings so the head had to move at least a little for the o-ring to fail since it sits in a groove in the cylinder. It should have pushed coolant out the overflow before 192 so I would check the cap with a pressure teser. Did you see coolant outside the engine, its also posible its the head cover o-ring.
