maybe i missed something but it looks to me like the maverick went up with rear paddle tires only and no grip tires in the front while the rzr went up with regular tires all around.

do we know they were both in 2wd? if both in 4wd its an unfair comparison.

but if both in 2wd i guess its clear who the winner is paddle tires should grip harder

It looks to me that the rzr is in 4x4 ...and the maverick having sand tires on the front I doubt he is in 4x4... I would hate to say it's an unfair fight cause it just gives you more of a reason to fist pump brp

I will say that hill is a bitch to pull I did it on an 07 renegade( yes I had a brp lol) and it took everything that quad had in 4x4 but I was also running mud lites ... as for the rzr being better I don't think I would go that far cause it's no different then sledding they all have good and bad

Choke Cherry hill, is a joke now!!! Back in the 90's, it was all about wheel speed and RPM. If you couldn't substain both, you were never getting up and I never had the run that those guys are getting....

Unlike snow, sand robs a LOT of power. If you have stock tires and keep on top of the sand, you can have a good pull. But if you are making top end wheel speed, or even keeping mid end torque. You'll go any where with paddles.

I honestly don't think that the vid is a fair comparison......

Have been there as well , yes steeper than video portrays .
There are probably steeper dunes somewhere in ,America .
Devils Dune around the corner from Choke Cherry was pucker steep
as well . Gonna stop in there on return from Moab this spring !
It's all tires and power at St. Anthony's .

Devils is a taller dune, and you can click off 5th before the bottom. Either way I always had fun at St. Anthony's.

Perhaps the dude running the maverick didn't know there was a competition going on and just turned out early because he spilt his drink...it happens.

We don't know if any of these comparisons are legit because we don't know if both machines are stock or modded in any of the videos. Both machines are pretty cool in my opinion.
