has anyone put newer suspension and frt gas shocks on a older 500 Indy

wonder if a extra 10 or 12 suspension and frt gas shocks would help the old indy ride better..after having that 03 800 Vertical Escape, this ole 92 rides pretty rough,

I have been researching this subject also and Yes an extra 10 will fit into the wedge chassis. I have read that the extra 10 is better than the extra 12 and they are more readily available. The extra 10 front suspension is suposed to bolt right up also. I have the measurements to instal the extra 10 skid if you want.

sounds good, I know of a XLT Special with no motor and has a Xtra 10 in it, hope it has frt gas shocks too ? let you know how it works ..

no, wont even think of switching chassis,s this 500 EFI chassis is beautiful shape, the XLT is beat all to crappolla..
