For J71.

Frame uses LinQ brackets to hold it down, but sits on 4 small brackets with cork bumpers under them.

I've used a Nanuk 915 case, but a pelican would work the exact same way. Case is bolted to the frame with 1/4" bolts and fender washers. Set up to open without taking it off and without hitting the jerry can.

When you're not carrying the jerry can, it can move to the forward brackets.

Have to make a few more for a few friends - probably can make one for you J71 if you need.

Production time? i'd be really interested in one, yesterday. lol

Thanks

Just made this for myself, and the quality of my aluminum welds are not something I'd want to sell yet. Just learning on Aluminum - Right now I'm an aluminum grinder, not an Aluminum welder.

If there's interest out there I know how to make it much more simple. Just need to get a group of 10 or so together that wants them.

Good job vodoo. I had this made by an aluminum welder. I'm more of an idea person and not a welder. We don't need to carry gas with our short distances but if I do it is an easy switch. This is mostly for chain saw and snowshoes for breaking trail into various basins as there are always trees down and the quavers can't get into these basins in the summer. I turned the Linq brackets backwards so they weren't sticking outside the tunnel as we are more often than not in the tight trees and I didn't want them pulled out of the tunnel when I know I will be scraping a tree or two.

Here's why we like to carry chainsaws in the early season or after a storm. Another 10 km further before we could drop the sleds. Just a rush ride today and we had to cut those suckers and quite a few more by hand.
