I have to join a gun club as well, since I live out around the Beach Corner area, I joined the Wabamun Gun Club, Had to inquire as I don't know how to get range privilege's, You cannot purchase a handgun until I am part of a gun club so I have some where to target shoot. Then I can only go from my house to the range, no where else.

Buy used, take the money you save to buy a .22 as well. More practice time with less money. 9mm reloads are $300/1000rnds. I just picked up a mint M9A3 for $650 so there are deals if you watch. Beretta are good, CZ Shadow is also very good. Join CGN, good trading section.

Just get a 9 mm easier also on the pocket book IMO " Sig Sauer and the MP's version in Smith and Wesson are also very good.

Ask the prices of the ones you are about to try, no sense falling in love with one you can't afford lol, because they usually are the more expensive ones haha.

1911 not my favorite, could never come to grip with the grips....

Anyone can shoot a 92FS Inox well though. Good advice as stated, go put some rounds through some rentals.
