Hadster's Oct. 16 & 17 Ride !

Well we are all back and we all survived! We had 7 quads and 1 razor in our pack. (Total of 9 guys) We even ran into to two other groups doing the same ride .Only two issues the whole weekend ! One Suzuki broke a front axle and then 1/2 mile away lost the nut to the tie-rod end. Then a Brute Force blew a tire off rim (easy fix) and broke a CV joint ! With a little wire and some creative fixin both were back on the trail. (This all happened in tthe skeg by Misty Valley) Saturday was a little cool but no rain or snow !! Sun was trying to peek out all day. Made to Nordegg by 7 pm. In for a hot shower and a good meal.
Up at a decent time (8:00) in for a hot breakfast. On the trail again by about 9:15. Real frosty this morning but was really nice within the first hour of ridin. Sunny skies, no wind, good trails.Skipped the skeg today ,just followed the hi-way for a ways then back on the trails. Hammered hard to make time to get back to Horberg. All went good, no break-downs today. Had a good time ,made lots of miles, made some new friends !!! Thanks everyone !!

Always nice to ride with a bunch of great guy's, things went pretty good overall. A few breakdowns, but everyone made it all the way , some even with broken and weak parts.
Joeweasel with limited riding experience did an amazing job of handling his machine as well !!
I'm sure we will do it again next year, hopefully by then I can have a few of the bad spots repaired.

Yeah, it was a great ride! Hadster is right, Joe Weasel you did very good for a first ride !!! You rode your quad like a pro !! It would have been nice to show you some more of the sights (ei. the caboose,etc.) but we will have to do that next time !

And those Razor boys !!! (Vinson and Vlad) Man, were they funny !! "Let's get on the trail so I can finish watching the movie !" " Yeah, we need to fix that with BLUE electrical tape " and so many more funny things said !!

And Hadster. What a trail guide !!! Helps the slow guys and yet leads the pack to show us where to go. Always the first guy in to pull you out if you get stuck !! And willing to tell you about some of the sights in the area and stuff to see !! A very nice guy !!

Oh Yeah !!! Thanks to Qmao. Thank you for the ride out there. Sure nice to ride with some one verses drivin out there by myself !! We all seem to have fun and we had good weather to boot !!!
Who would have thought that October would be nicer than August !! Hope that Nov. and Dec. are just as nice !!!( Jan. and Feb. too, but that might be pushin it !! LOL) ( Sorry snowmobile guys)

Well I don`t want to repeat what has already been said in the previous posts, but it is all true.
Great bunch of men, great ride, and great weather!
I can`t wait to do it again.
Bullseye, it was a pleasure driving out there with you, not sure I would have done the trip if I had to drive out myself. I hope we can do more trips together.
Also, thanks to everyone who lent me tools and helped keep me going after breaking the axle and loosing the nut from a Tie rod end. Who would have ever thunk a wheel nut would fit.
