Had it with unvented gas cans!

Anyone know where I can buy those little snap in vent caps for jerry cans. Lots on E-bay but looking local. Any other creative ideas appreciated.

I drilled a small hole in the back of the handle on mine, and just plug it with a screw, or golf tee.

I've also started using a "rattle syphon hose"

I was at Canadian Tire a little while ago and they were still selling the cans with vents.

I just bought a stack of the old style wedco cans from greggs distributing. Those none vent ones all went in the trash where they belong.

Small town gas stations sell the old school cans that actually pour. Darwell. Nordegg ect. I burnt all those other pieces of **** cans.

Non vented cans are a joke! I can fill my tractor in less time than my sled

Military style gas cans still have vents. You get them at Canadian tire. They are taller and narrower then the other types. I like the shape of them better then the normal style.

The vent caps suck too, all mine broke so they're just the ring with some plastic wrap under them.

I bought the eBay snap in vents... Work great. I only have 1 full diameter pour spout left though anybody have any idea where to pickup more? The vented spouts work ok.. But full diameter is boss. Empty a jerry can faster than I can pump it in at gas station

Hundred times better than those $hit septer ones. It sucks trying to fill equipment with jerry cans that don't vent.

Drill a 9/16" hole right behind the handle, and plug it with a short valve stem. Remove the core, and just close it off with the cap....works like a charm.

never thought of doing that..... my golf tee seems to be working so far, but that is a great idea too!

Watched a video today of a guy installing a valve stem without core as a vent. Looked great and should be tough.

Actually the Scepter ones you are referring to vent through the spout. Slow yes, but a million times better jerry can than the POS Wedco junk. Never seen a Wedco that didn't eventually leak fuel everywhere.
