Didn't sell enough seadoos last summer and brp pulled the dealer, plus banner and other dealers have been pushing

Have heard something going into salmon Arm

As far as I'm concerned, H2O - buck Lake Bob - track side in olds where the best dealers anywhere, and brp keeps dropping the good ones for sh!t junk dealers like turple bros and banner, where your just a number

Way I see it, brp is retarded to drop it from sicamous and or revy as they are the hub of mountain sledding area, and not having something close they are loosing to independent places

Glad you had a good experience with H2O Tex. Mine was quite the opposite! Based on the arrogant, clipped, attitude and extremely poor service we received from H20 I am not surprised at all that they did not sell enough units and think BRP has nowhere to go but up with another dealer.

Dale would give me the shirt off his back to get me going riding if needed, not many places left like that

Now I have heard issues with him but have never seen it myself
If you go into there copping a attitude, well then
He's told me story's about douche bags thinking there sh!t don't stink, and because it's a mom and pop shop, that's there own option to not help you as they do own the place, if ya know what I mean

If you go into the sled shed, AL won't do sh!t to help ya either if you cop a attitude, my buddy did this to AL lol cause he was mad at brp with his 07 lol

H20 was good to me but I was always respectful and received the same in return. It was pretty well known that if you went in there with attitude you would receive it right back. None of the big dealers have ever gone out of their way to help me other than to sell me a machine and then crappy support and act like they don't know me after the fact.

Tex keeps thinking we are treated this way because of our bad attitude- BS....Dale has the bad attitude. Never heard of any tourist that have had any different treatment from Dale and company when in trouble. Al and Pete (Sled Shed) go out of their way to help people in a bind. That is what sledding businesses have to do for the short sledding season .

I agree.. as a business owner it's up to you to please the customer. Sometimes you will sometimes you wont.. all you can do is try.

Exactly....his crap attitude had customers making complaints to BRP and speaking with their wallets and BRP had enough. He didn't reserve that treatment for tourists only.

I never realized asking to get a sled worked on is considered copping attitude.

Usually its the attitude of the dealer that sets the tone of a business deal.
Dealers that pick and chose who they want as customers is a irritation to me, especially when looking for service. I know a dealer in Edmonton area who wasn't to interested in working on a sled that was not purchased from them.

Well that's funny, I know 20 plus Alberta guys ( didn't know this before till I moved here) that buy and will only get and let Dale touch there sleds

He is a awesome technician and knows his sh!t for mountain sleds

I bought from Dale my 14 xmx and hadn't moved to the mous yet, never ever even set foot in his door, didn't know him for sh!t

Gave me the best deal around, and service around

And like I stated previously, it's a mom and pop shop, very limited on time a day, and easy to get a long ways behind

And if he is fine with how much work to do, and that's enough to pay the bills, that's his choice not yours

And getting azz raped by b.r.p warranty, to drop a client pay time job, being a mechanic my self I totally understand

And Bob, u have been pretty good for attitude as of late, but mabe u went in the door with one..... And I KNOW U CAN HAVE A BIG BAD ATTITUDE sometimes

Bought some ski bushings there for my xp years ago. He was good to deal with. But it was much of a transaction. I heard of the bad service stories before I went in. So I was expecting a bit of attitude and left with a positive experience

brp is promoting a culture of having owners that own multiple stores but this may hurt them down the line in certain area's. Is Brp really understanding the financial health of some of these multiple store owners. I do not think so.

And that would be why BRP dropped him...

Why would they want a guy picking and choosing which BRP customer he feels like pleasing today? That is bad for business. Yes he can do what he wants, its his business, but not when he represents BRP

Dale should have got out of it years ago. He was no longer a "people person." Not the best recipe for building more clientele. Retail is tough but when you represent a huge corporation you have to suck it up and stick your nose firmly up the customers butt. I'm sure Dale has less stress in his life now and may actually mellow out after having the leash removed from around his neck. Time will tell,,,

Guess those 20 plus Alberta guys can shop at home now eh.

Not sure who you are thinking of but I never been in there looking for warranty work so not sure why you think I went in H20'S Door. Perhaps you are thinking of someone else since I don't know you. Pretty sure I haven't given the guy I do buy sleds from any attitude either.

I think there was potential for a brp store to prosper in sicamous but there is a combinations of reason that have been listed I really think the facility itself was limiting as Brp expanded its line up.

Hi Tex, I hear you on the d-bags with attitudes and the stereotypical Albertan, however I can assure you it was NOT our attitude that was the problem with H2O. I really like Mom and Pop shops and go out of my way to support them when possible. Pete at the Sled Shed has helped us out many times and we've sent many customers his way. He's definitely a character and a great example of how a local shop goes above and beyond to get you back riding!

I have used AL, many years ago when I had a Rev chassis

AL won't deal with sh!t attitudes either and will open the door for ya to slam it behind you just like Dale would

Both have had enough jems for clients before

As one of my law professors told me in college; It's okay to fire your clients. Believe me there is more truth in that statement after being in the service industry for 30 years with my wife. There is twits on both side the spectrum.
