My wife works for a surgeon, nose, ear and throat specialists, and his dad was a surgeon, so a very smart man to say the least. Our family got the H1N1 flu shot last sunday and were still standing. yea I was a bit nervous I hadn't gotten any shots since grade 8? and have been doing fine.
So anyways the surgeon does follows up on this stuff very carefully and deals with this stuff everyday doing surgery, he says its a very good thing.
For now I'm still kicking and glad I had my shot for now.

I read the article and watched the video. Anyone think this guy is a quack? He has been quoting studies from the mainstream medical community. I don't get the sense he is a quack. I'd be interested in hearing what the health care professionals on the site have to say about it.

Iv'e never had a flu shot in my life, nor did i go to the doctors when i was sick. And i am healthy as can be. Of course i go for the dreaded physical, I eat like im starvin, dont add on weight. Heal fast.
My fam doctor wonders why i have a high metabolism, look younger than i actually am, and have the most craziest immune system he's ever seen.
My family has many medicine men in the generations of our family tree.
I stick mostly to herbal brews and Aboriginal medicine. My father and I r not gettin the shot. if i can make it thru this without incident, think of the long term effects ill be free of, remember their still long-term testing this shot, and i was a little sketchy about the timeframe it was manufactured in and distributed right aftr.

Just my 2 cents:d:d

I feel much the same way... there is too much controversy over this damn vaccine and the swine flu itself - I just don't know what to beleive anymore but I am going with my abosolute gut instincts that something about this vaccine just spells BAD NEWS

I read through the entire thing and he has obviously went to great lengths to provide his perspective INCLUDING sighting some reputable clinical journals... That being said, I could not find references anywhere on that site... Not saying that it is BS... I just want to read the clinical papers and make my own connections versus taking the word of this guy... Can anyone provide me with the resources from that link???

I'm not saying that he is wrong, but you have to consider his bias.. he is a natural path and is not willing to look at the benefit of taking the shot... he has covered the risk side in depth... and as I mentioned before, you need to weigh out the risk/benefit ratio on any medical decision... including this one!

So sorry to hear so much tragedy come from this .........The one common factor is pneumonia , at least the cases I have seen , very sad , lungs seem unable to recooperate once they are sick........:(:(
