I spent 1/2 hour on hold yesterday morning waiting to apply for my ATT to go to a competion in Sask. Only to be given the run around.

Ya she told me I need to provide dates and other information, I told here I can't provide that information because the competion calander hasn't been release yet, When I asked her about how my friends that I shoot with got theirs she told me that she has a process that she has to follow. When I asked her if it's the same form that I could fill out on line she said yes. I told her that that is the problem and athat there is another way and that she should start that process. She told me tht she will have to consult with other agents and get back to me tomorrow. With this new ban hammer dropping I'm not holding my breath.

If you plan on using any of your firearms that haven't been banned then I would suggest you get it. If you have any ristricted firearms that are registers then you definatley want to get it. Owning firearms in Canada is against the criminal code and your PAL serves as an exception to that rule. Without it, if they come and search your home, which they can do at any time if you have firearms registered to you, you will be looking at a prison sentence.
I'm no lawyer but that is my understand of the law. You may want to Check with Ian Runkle.

Someone else owns all my guns, and with all the land we have, shooting them aint no problem. I havent shot one in 10 years though cause i have lots of other ch!t going on.
Id like my pal so i can keep guns in town in case i want to shoot someone some time

Stuff like this? Christ in the first ban in 2020 they had biathlete guns on the ban list. He’s even running athletes out of the Olympics. What purpose does that serve? Is their crime and shooting in the Olympics?

he wouldn't say anything. he's trying to get votes and as far as the population goes that's a very spilt issue. better to avoid it and try to get as many votes as you can. he has said he is against the new gun control regs a few times but I think if he ever does address the handgun part it will be after an election

Him banning guns is on purpose for the general population. As far as consequences for him for doing it, there is none. Canadians smile as their being taken into communism.
