S & Mudder's, write to your MP's to express your displeasure towards those rules, vice targeting law-abiding gun owners.

:twocents: of the day.

If you been thinking about getting one of these guns you better do it now before they are pulled from the stores. I`m sure Canadian Tire has pulled them by now.

Why would anyone turn in any weapon that was classed non-restricted, there is no record of who has them. Any restricted weapons are gonna be tougher to hide since the RCMP knows who has them. After the last registry I never got anything restricted, also I have never registered a firearm. I never bought any when the old registry was active. My dad and took our chance hunting with unregistered guns. I am sure glad I made that choice now.

We all need to wait it out. Publically shame anyone that turns theres in. Like Clode says there isn't enough jails. Cops in my county already said the ban is a waste of time and is political. They want no part of confiscating guns. Now is the time to stand united!

Now there are some stories coming out that the government is getting so much backlash in some key Liberal ridings that they are now considering a grandfathering clause where as all new sales of specifically named guns but owners that already have them can keep them at home but not shoot them. In other words you now become a collector of that gun. You also can sell the gun to the government and the automatic buy back program will not make it to fruition. I guess we will see today as that is the rumored release of what kind of legislation will hit the fan.
