I haven't been in there this early in the year before. By the looks of the sticks on the shore, the water is receding. Underground drainage takes it away. Still lots of snow up there and with the coming week being +25, it may get a little higher. Some of the oldtimers have seen it right to the trees.

The creek on the way down is flowing like crazy. I'm thinking the river in Fernie will crest by this weekend.

It will be interesting to see who has the first correct guess after 6:00 pm tonight!
