With Revelstoke and now Valemount recently suspending operations, is there any word on a decision if McBride will continue grooming?

So why would grooming operations shut down? If it is due to lack of snowmobiles, that makes economic sense. If its Covid-19 it makes no sense. Only an excuse.

Revelstoke and Valemount decisions strictly Covid-19 based.

with the current social distancing and requests to not travel, I believe they were socially responsible decisions to suspend grooming operations to help discourage riders from coming. The other major message that they conveyed was the cabins should be used only in event of an emergency not as a social gathering spot. They cannot close the mountains but they can try to make it so that less people opt to travel.

All due respect, Covid or not.
The suspension of a grooming program, should not be an excuse to not go riding.

But its a valid excuse for not forcing someone to go to work for something that is really not needed. If you want to sled...give er' and enjoy the day, but to force staff to be there for nonessential services is short sighted on your part.

trails were groomed for the weekend. but stay out of our emergency shelters. collectors want you to stay back from the shack an arms length and they are wearing gloves or are sanitizing after each transaction.

Huh??? Where did this come from, I think you misunderstood.
Stopping grooming is fine by me.
Just because the trail is not groomed should not stop a persons decision to not go and self isolate in the mtns and enjoy riding.

Not sure what your getting at. Mtns are still open to enjoy in the areas that suspended grooming.

But Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry made clear today that while everyone is encouraged to get outdoors for fresh air — if people don't start following her voluntary directives, she'll have no choice but to impose orders.

Giggling Grizzly Pub posted earlier today that they are closing down until further notice as recommended by BC Health Dept.

I feel like it’s really quite simple. The government should be looking at this like 2 options: 1 2 week total shut down 2: let it run its coarse and call it natural population control. They’re not doing either, and the effect of option 2 and doing what they are doing, the end result will be a long drawn out painfully slow demise of many things, not only loss of life. So as citizens, we should all do our best to aid in expediting the eradication of this virus. All before the government once again has to intervene and protect our selves....... from...... ourselves. Like laws that apparently need to tell us it’s not a good idea to smoke in a closed window vehicle with children in it, that sort of stuff. We all know this virus isn’t the plague, but it kills and spreads quickly, so governments have to do something, please make good choices, before the choices no longer become yours to make.
