Groomed before each weekend I think...and pounded out by days end on Saturday. Seriously, it's great in the mornings if the groomers been out the night before. I like how often they groom that trail in.

Quartz is the one area they seem to keep on schedule as it's used the most and they keep a groomer in the lot. Very rarely do you hit a bad trail, but it can get beat up that first day if there's lots of sleds.

It's always in great shape in the mornings but it's US sleaders that rip it up by days end.

Quite the views!!!

I have NEVER been to Quartz when it was clear... =(

Personally love to because I've never cross over anywhere either in fear of not knowing the area.

Also, your time stamp is wrong on your pictures =)

Rode at Quartz today (Jan.26) and it was tracked out... BUT the snow was still soft and there was lots of good areas to play on/in. Even more exciting was that it was completely clear all day, my first time ever there with a clear sky all day, SUPER SWEET!

Since when did they let "GINGER KIDS" out in the mountians :nono:, Do you not know how bad of a sunburn "your kind" can get at that altitude Brad ?

To make sure that my pasty skin did not get overexposed to the high-altitude sunshine, I periodically made sure to put myself and the sled upside down in the snow. Safety first!
Polaris-killer, at various points of the day, provided examples of this technique as well as descending hills without a sled.
