Hi Folks

OK I think I have the weather figured out. The Weather Gods didn't like how they put out
November so they're just having a DO Over
December is the new November, so we will be back to normal in January

So the snow will be a bit late, Like the end of this month

See you on the trails

Hi Folks
Well the snow maker put down 2 inches of snow here this morning, it won't be great riding at the Lake but
I would say head south and you will have a nice ride. Now you know what is under that lump in the snow:rolleyes:

See you on the trail

Hi Folks
I was out packing in the south all day, the snow is about 6 to 8 inches deep,
If your interested in riding at the Lake that's the direction to go.

See you on the trail
Merry Christmas
Don

trails are looking good. I've never been up your way, do we require trail passes for riding?

Hi BZ
No passes required here. But you are required to come out and have a good time:)

I recommend you have a look at the map on this site it is a google copy
You can park at he parking lot on the new emergency access road which is approx. 3 km north
of the Long Lake park turnoff, turn right off 831 and go east about 1 Km
From there you will be exploring some nice trails
I'm in the trail packing stage right now but the grooming will start when the snow picks up.

Donations for trail grooming always accepted. Don runs a good trail but he has expenses just like all trail builders, Always good to have a Provincial Trail Pass to be able to ride ALL other trails in Alberta

awesome ... thanks Don. I'll have to convince the wife (who's a beginner) that it's worth the trip

Well Done packing all he trails this morning, now we need a big dump.

If you ever wondered why we spend our own time out in the cold running up and
down the bush trails.
This is the view out my office window:)

Hi Folks
Well I've been doing the grooming but up until today haven't been riding.
The trails are in good shape for a nice family ride, there's no big powder to burn 360's but it's all good
Where the quads have rutted deep holes that will take some snow and some packing but don't
let that stop you from coming out to ride, I will recommend you go south towards the Grazing reserve
and the Big pipe line as well as the south hills.

See you on the trails
Don

Well Folks The Groomer has returned to the Lake from it's latest modification,
Electric Jacks to adjust the depth of the blades, it will be sooo nice for this old man.
The brush cutter has more teeth and been doubled up and the new hitch with a Break away system if I hit a
NUGGET.

Many thanks to Mitch Patrick From Summitt Trailers for all his efforts.

See you on the trails
