Could smoke have anything to do with those deaths?

Alot of none Alberta place.

Population seems to be the major issue.

I used to work at shell scotsford and the surrounding air quality was monitored.
So I call bs on the bruderheim numbers.

Maybe in Canada we make more CO2 since we burn more efficiently than China. As combustion efficiency on fired equipment goes up, excess air goes down and CO2 goes up. At a zero excess air on natural gas you achieve stoichiometric combustion and produce in theory 11.5% CO2. At 25% excess air I typically see 10.2-10.5 CO2. As I increase my excess air I see my CO2 drop substantially but my efficiency also suffers accordingly. Also on the other end of things I must watch I don’t get down to far on excess air or I start to make soot in the tubes or exchangers. Out the exhaust stream this shows up as CO which is poisonous and far worse than co2 in my mind.

No problem. Just check a website and it will tell you if it’s safe to go outside for a walk. Welcome to the future.

Exactly, what is classified as premature?
When I lived in Toronto the brown haze was 1/2 mile thick over tow during heat waves.
That was deffinatly not healthy.
What else are people exposed to?
When we all lived in caves the life span was about 40 - so Gretta's solution is not the best either.
Is pollution killing us, sure it is but our life expectancy continually rises also.
In 30-40 years we will be weaned from fossil fuels, that i believe - not overnight though so let's just stop fawkin up people's lives.
Boo the biotch off stage.

Tell her to go US or China where she can make a difference.

lol, i call estimated NDP BS, some fake report article from 2017, who put it out, were is a link, if it had any truth, how come it never got any traction.

looks like gov of Canada says it's closer to 14, 000 Canadians, from a computer generated projection program, no real numbers just some estimates from somewhere.

here is the report from gov of Canada, note it is estimated deaths, in reality made up BS with made up numbers.
