Our Premier is very quick at getting to the point...his spokesperson, Christine Myatt, sent out the following email to the media in response to the news of the pending visit by "media's climate specialist"

“We trust that Ms. Thunberg will recognize Alberta’s leading human rights and environmental standards, especially in comparison to oil-producing dictatorships such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia, and Venezuela — which she will presumably visit next — as well as major growing emitters like China,” Myatt said in an emailed statement.

Her chances of getting "the lead" greatly increase if she goes to those other places. Hell, take more out with an IED.

yup...it's true....here is a copy of Donnie's tweet to his new BFF Greta.......

Hi @GretaThunberg:
You're visiting #Alberta! I’d love to invite you to #YEG’s City Hall to discuss the #EdmontonDeclaration & some of the environmentally friendly projects we’re working on. changeforclimate.ca Regardless of where you visit, I wish you nothing but the best

If anyone that doesn’t think that this is just another Liberal stunt to push the agenda is sadly mistaken.
Right at election time something like this stunt ???

While I agree with a counter protest and that she has no business with her act of being a leading climate scientist I really don’t know that taking a whole bunch of trucks to the legislature is going to do anything in the media for Alberta’s reputation. Good on them for organizing and really giving a **** but I can just see already the mainstream worldwide media spin on this will not be in our favour.

Maybe an Anti-Gretta protest but leave the trucks at home.

The whole scam is based on perception on both sides so hopefully things are though through.

Agreed, it is really a big mess all around. No matter what the intentions the media can spin it however they want people to perceive it.
