The Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development is creating new trailhead maps to provide consistent information across sledding areas and improve awareness and understanding of sledding areas and closure areas.
Based on the input that we received from our initial survey in the summer of 2019, we’ve worked to update the design of sledding area maps. This follow-up survey offers an opportunity for you to:
· view draft concept maps (in different styles)
· provide feedback on the draft concept maps
· learn about the next steps in the process
Recreational snowmobilers are invited to participate in this voluntary survey, which will be open through Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019. The survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete. As with the last survey, the results from this survey will help guide the development of new maps for sledding areas in British Columbia.
