I was almost ripped off online just the other day. There was a Polaris Ranger RZR for sale for $2500.00 I couldn't believe it. Well needless to say it was a scam. But I did my research and well if something is too good to be true it probably is! And the add is still online at craigslist SO BUYERS BEWARE!!!

those scams have been around for years and aren't going to go away unless it is no longer worth thier while.....Obviously people are falling for them because they are even placing ads on some of the pay for sites like canadatrader.com.....
Not sure how anyone could ever fell comfortable sending a stranger money for something that they have never seen in person.....

it's hard to believe that some people do send money.... i know a couple of people that have been burnt doing that.

I inquired about a quad last year in the "auto trader" but when i insised on a pre-purchase inspection that pretty much finished the deal!!

another story but not about karma , just a turd!

so i was surfing kijiji looking for a yamaha 700 , and i saw a yamaha venture for sale , so i emailed him and asked if he was interested in my dirtbike that was priced a $1,500 , and he said he wanted more details so i sent pics and info , he replied that he wanted it and his sled was $2,600 in the summer!!! so i offerd him $2,100 and he said $2,500 was the lowest he would go:( and he offerd me $900 for my bike and i said no and that his offer was way to low considering it was dirtbike season , and not sled!!!!! and i asked "how long is the is the track?" and that i was 14 and i was mowing lawns and all i had was the bike and about $500 (a little more) and in his words not mine he said "phuk off!" i said "God bless you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and that was it!

If the bike you are trying to trade him is your PE 175, it's not worth $1,500.

I think $900 was a generous offer for it, I would have offered you $500.
