:mad:Had tinted windows in every vehicle I ever owned and never an issue till today,Big stop check comming off 14 onto yellowhwead east today,On my way home today from a good day of golfing and the fawkers had to ruin my day! ($57.00)
P.S. they told me factory tint only on drivers and passengers door!
Good thing for the tint or they would have got me for a seatbelt too LMAO!

HAHA i got nailed last week in st albert I told him to get use to it and he hated my photo radar licence plate cover

Yep wife got one the other day, usually get one every year. I'll just keep paying it, hopefully never have to remove it as I really like my windows tinted. There not limo black just the minimal which I like better. Last year the jerk in Edmonton gave me a $114 ticket $57 for each side.

Cause they need too see the driver in case he is doing something illegal.Like not wearing a seatbelt!

Police cant see what they are coming up to when they approach a vehicle. Also glass dont shatter into small pieces and disperse in a accident.

In some places in the states like Arizona the 5-0 even have tint on their front side windows

hmmm that funny the cops would pull over a normal vehicle , but they won't bug all those big a## escalade and bmw driving by 18 years old punk all tint up and the 6 " exhaust you can hear a mile away , that my :twocents:

Oh ok so if a limo gets into a crash how do they get the people in the back out then? they have tinted windows i don't get it.

Tint actually safer IMO glass doesn't shatter stats in one piece fold it in when broke. Like the duct tape x firefighter use just its already there

I got busted several weeks ago. Then a half hour later a buddy got a ticket at the same spot. For some reason, they only gave be a $57 ticket and gave hime a ticket for about $120. That seems odd, eh?

I could make a guess as to which one of you showed more attitude towards the cop :)

It appears the Alberta cops are slowly catching up to the BC police with vehicle modification infractions. In our area you dont see to many tinted drivers windows anymore.

Oh, Ill bet you almost anything those youngsters get a fair amount of attention from the cops.

maybe the city of edmonton IS cracking down on tint on window to help pay for Katz arena lol
