My very first 4stroke, purchased in 2010 and to the shop it went for a tear down.
260hp Boondocker with Garret center mount, 174x2.5 track, Iceage rails.
Numerous Cr custom mods, from suspension to boards.
Too date it was one of the most fun sled I have ever owned and I have owned over 40 sleds. Extremely agile and maneuverable. I would go as far as saying IMO, this sled was more agile then the Winder.
Hands down the most reliable sled I have ever rode, sold it at over 10,000 mountain kilometers and was towed once.
Header pipe broke at turbo and was exhausting directly onto fuel tank.
It was a huge learning curve to learn how to ride a 4stroke, i'm glad I held in there.
IMO, the Nytro falls in the category of legends with the original Phazer 485.

I'm also no stranger to four stroke turbos, especially the Yamaha's. Never owned an Apex so thought, what the hell!

Lots of cool builds here. What was the best turbo Yamaha sled? Sure was a pile of Nytro builds. That’s probably the best 4 stroke genuine Yamaha built. Wonder what it would look like today if they kept going. It would be interesting to see what prototypes they had in the go.

What’s everyone still have in the snow?
