WOW!from sat what a change.no more snow all hard wind blown.down into lang little better.but no new.OH yeah EVERYTHING CAME DOWN!! broke thought lake on west and southwest corners. and everything went down to ground, some slides had quit a bit of force you could tell by trees and rock debre good thing can start over if it snow enough.pics arent the best

WOW, they need some snow. Here is May 18 last year. My first pic is almost identical to your third one. Notice the rocks on the left still exposed right now.

yeah your pic's are way softer looking! we didn't go over to holtz way more rock from sat.

looks like a lot more wind blown then actual snow fall, i think gorman will be good in march lol. this is getting depressing, too damn cold then too warm and no snow, should have bought some sea doos lol. it will improve thanks for pics. by the way fernie is no hell either actually will not return there until more comes down..

was going tomorrow but mountains are track or wind blown,snow coming for 23rd,going to need a seasons full.

Hey was out there on the 8th. Snow was not to bad for my standards nothing real fresh in the lower sections but mountain sides were loaded with HERO snow!! Got to love it

Rode Gorman today, 14th Feb. Overcast all day so light a little flat when in fresh areas. We made the rounds, checking out Lang, East Quartz (all the way down to the logging road), Cirque and also Quartz lake. The snow shortfall is unbelievable. Areas are either pounded, hero snow or wind exposed rock. If you find some soft stuff it is all sugary. People making some really long pulls effortlessly. The hill up to the sadle when going into Cirque is icy and there is signs of carnage, so be warned.

I miss powder.

makes me very worried about the early "hero snow" and when is it going to come down? i think gorman would be a death trap just waiting to happen. i have not been in there this year due to talk of no snow and like you say large rocks, wind drifted, just not a good combination. my sled tumbles very frequently and hard stuff just costs more lol. prey for new snow:rolleyes:

great day sunny most of day.WAY better snow than last week.Lang bowl had good foot wind blown/fresh on north facing slope.lunch at 7000ft in sun can't be beat towards E.grizzly.

5+cm new dry snow on ice crust,hollowing winds/and big wind loaded avies.with the rest of week now calling for snow showers:d:p
may 6th weather now to show sunny rest of week:confused::confused::confused::d

another 10cm new(not everywhere) yesterday.softer in the trees and on west faces was really good snow!
from 12k there's 500 feet of dirt to first bridge.

driving to 15k,some the boys where up,said lots snow still.and yes of coures dirt too.but this is the season ,be going out for my self soon.
