Yeah, it would be nice if I could get exact directions to this Goose Tower place. I've asked once and have seen other people ask and always get that it is close to Swan Hills.
Is goose tower a road that runs east west north of town?

Go through Whitecourt, take a right at the Big Casino(Fuel up at the Husky near there if u need to) Follow that road till u get to Swanhills, approximately One Kilometer after Swanhills, Take a left onto a Gasplant road, about 8-10km's in you take a left turn on a Y split(Im not 100% about the 8-10km's) Once you take a left, follow that road, till u see a little turn off(like a rest area almost), and theres a little shack. When u turn off to the little rest area it leads back onto the main road, rather than trying to turn around at a dead end.

Best directions I can give you.

I'm not available this weekend. Next week looks good though.

Heard that the highways are crap. Keep your wheels on the pavement.

Goose tower is not a specific "staging area" There are literally hundreds of miles of pipelines and cutlines in the "area". Just drive north of swan hills, take any main road to the west, find deep snow, unload and giver. Its really that simple. I have rode that area for many years and I don't think I have ever staged from the same place twice. Have fun :)
