Looks Like Theres Still Lotsa Snow Up There!!!!

It was hard to tell just how much...there were spots that were still 4 - 5 feet, most spots were still 3'. There was lots of melting goin on yesterday afternoon, which made the road out pretty greasy! 9 of us were sledding by 9am and went til 6pm. It was a blast, feeling quite sunburnt today! Can't wait til next season, didn't want the day to end!

Oh yeah.....was I ever glad I was invited to join in and got up that early for the trip. Thanks for a fantastic day of riding guys!!!

I'm sure there will be lots of pics and stories to come. Great snow, fantastic group of guys to ride with, some good stucks, a couple tumbles, one lost camera and a lot of sunburnt faces. If everyone else is as sore and stiff as I am, there is a lot of moaning and groaning going on this morning.

It was a good thing we went early. Snow was perfect in the morning. Got really wet and heavy in the afternoon and was melting amazingly fast. Road in was good, road out was a big mess. After this weekend I don't think there will be much left out there. Machines were working real hard by the end of the day.

The goose tower ride was great. It was a pleasure having ZRrrr along. All the guys say hi. Clayton (orange 670 summit) update, 1 broken truck window,1 lost camera,2 broken ribs,and when we got home he was leaving and his tire fell of his truck. At least the sledding was great. ZRrrr give call and we can arange to swap pics.

Wow... piles of snow up there! I wish I would have had the chance to get up there. ZRrrr... anymore shots? I will be calling you next year to take us up there with you. Looks like you guys had a blast... awesome for late April?

When I saw Clayton getting up off the snow, the way he was protecting his chest, I figured he might have cracked a rib. Been there, done that. He had a good days ride with some unfortunate events. He is a highly skilled rider and really knew how to work his machine. Just some shitty luck that day. What's the adage...bad luck runs in threes. Funny thing is Clayton had good pics and even video of us on his camera. Looks like an opportunity for you guys to make a quad trip/camera hunt this summer.

I took a couple hours to officially put the sleds away for the summer. Nice and clean, fuel stabilized, fogged. I knew for sure it was time when I heard the music from the ice cream truck.

Thanks again for a great day. I will call and we can meet up for a bevy, exchange pics. Had a few failed pics due to the bright sun/snow and exposure issues. Here is a couple more. Trevor, still waiting to see pics of the intimate moment you had with that spruce tree.

Check this out....I was comparing the GPS to the sled odomoter. GPS said 44 miles, sled odometer 91miles!!!!!! That's alot of track spin!

Scott, I think you would really enjoy riding with the group. Always cracking jokes, having fun and riding hard. They serve up a mean BBQ lunch too. Next year!!!!

it was awesome riding. glad i came even though i broke the ribs, lost the camera, lost the wheel and broke the window it was worth the ride. will definitly be back next season. thanks for the pics guys they are great
