10 grand sounds great, how hard is that to win? Is it poker rally?

Riders and Passengers are only eligible. Everyone must be on the trail even if you made it a short way. The $40 registration is your chance to win 1st 2nd or 3rd. Extra tickets are available for $25 for a better chance of winning the 1st 2nd or 3rd. Silent auction prizes are sold separately usually for $2 for smaller prizes and $5 for the larger prizes. 50/50 are also priced at $5 a piece.

What is the trail/terrain like? Is it lots of mud, water, muskeg? Kids would love to go but only if the terrain is fitting?

Not sure just yet. George the trail guy wants to change the trail up a bit this year. I won't know until the beginning of April. But I will keep you posted.

Lots of YouTube vids of this rally online. It looks muddy at the driest of times, might need pontoons this year with all the snow!

Most rallies are relatively kid friendly, but not this one IMO. The rally is usually close to 80 km and has a lot of sketchy and/or deep spots.

Don't forget to pack plenty of extra fuel!!!

I have a few guys interested in coming but we've got next to no rally experience...
Is there any new information about the course for this year?
How are the prizes awarded? I'm certain it's not a quickest time event?
Thanks

Its 40 bucks to ride. Just show up around 10 raffle tickets are available for the big prize of 10,000 bucks, I've never been to this rally but I'd assume if you stick around after they call out wristband numbers for small door prizes. Its suppose to be 70km or so. So I'm sure once the day is done not many will be hanging around lol..

Its usually only 70-80kms but its taken guys 8hrs or more to do it. Its wet, its deep & if the Beaver Dam lets go like most every yr & your stuck behind good luck swimming.

We usually start registration about 9:30. $40 gets you 1 ticket and you are eligible for 1st 2nd or 3rd. Extra tickets for these prizes are $25. We also have silent auction which is separate but we have some great prizes ranging from generator to helmets to jackets and so on. Tickets are $5 and $2 for those. We also have 50/50 tickets for these are $5. We pull tickets from a ticket drum because we believe everyone can have a chance to win. From what our trail guy has told me he'll be shortening the trail because it has taken people too long. Not to worry for all you veterans we will be keeping Hell's Kitchen. That's the first waterhole and this also will be seen on YouTube.

"Hell's Kitchen"... can an unmodified machine make it thru this?
I have no desire to sink my machine or have to have it towed back to my truck.
I'm not afraid of getting wet, that's part of being in a rally but I have no desire to destroy my machine either.

There's usually some precarious spots but they're avoidable as long as you're careful.

Last year there was an easy way around before entering Hell's Kitchen. I made the mistake of trying it without a snorkel and drowned my machine. I had to get towed back and couldn't finish the rally. I had broke thru the ice and two very nice guys had to pull me out.

Hell's Kitchen is a meadow. Its field grass, water and basically lives up to its name HELLS KITCHEN. LOL

Posted below is a little glimpse of what Hell's Kitchen can offer. It was taken in 2016.

I went up to my neck in water in one of Hell’s Kitchen holes last year the year before I watched others do it. I might go around this year if it’s an option. Its just abuse on the machine in my opinion

Hells Kitchen is a large field but has many beaver runs through it. Ive sank my 900XP running 31 Outlaws out there. Was snorkeled & survived but still made for a long wet cold ride.
And that 2016 video was a DRY yr... LOL
