i always thought BC was short of jobs and didn't pay mechanics like they do in Alberta. i work with 2 guys from bc and that is why they came to Alberta

Lots of work as a HD mechanic in BC, the wages aren't as high as Alberta's but the work is there. Being in your second year you're might have a tough time finding an employer willing to take you on.

move to stony plain, i am looking for techs now, being a second year guy is ok, are you on road or off road? where do you want to be in a few years in your career? only issue with my place is we are a specialized suspension place so you lose out on the expierience in all fields of the trade part. but a big plus is your always working on new units. pm if interested.

Things are busy again and mechanics are in demand like any trade in this town :d

mechanics are in demand everywhere right now. got 2 resumes in three weeks of looking and neither one was even a journeyman, one was a heavy equip operator, and the other a small engine mech. hired the operator guy starts next week. but really need a more exp. guy.

Despite the fires and floods, slave lake is in desperate need of workers of all kinds. I'm sure you could find a job pretty easy. I don't live there myself but seems like a good place to live if you are the outdoors type.

I would have to say Lacrete.....or Wandering River..........das AUTO

after living in Ft. Smith for 20 years, that made in almost spit out my LemonHart and coke.....IMHO that was funny!!!

Oh, ya......those would be great places to live with all the mosquitoes, no amenities, long way from anywhere, etc., etc.,
