Too much of society is content to live on handouts.

Even though it's essentially spoiling a ballot I'll be voting Conservative. They have no hope of getting in but I can't vote for the Liberal corruption or the tax and spend NDP. The thoughts of an NDP government have me seriously considering a move to AB, or getting the Mrs some sort of a gov't job lol.

Don't move here, not much better..... Every Redford election promise broken and we are now broke for not one but 4 generations to come; maybe more. And, no non-confidence vote and, she has three more years to dig us even deeper. Also just about everyday brings a new scandal of some Government official caught stealing or mis-using taxpayer's money, I call it theft!

You know, we send people to jail for less than what we let our politicians get away with. It is to bad that we sit back and do nothing........

without knowing the rational behind the financing this is a moot point. QUite possibly they are mortgage poor however there could be other explanations as well. The refinancing could have been used to purchace investment or vacation property, investments and in a few of those cases could have simply been regular re-mortgages on fixed term 2,3 or 5 year mortgages. Looking at his income of over 200K/yr and the fact that his wife is a practicing psychologist carrying a 300K mortgage is penuts....

I'm not a fan of politicians at the best of times but by god if this is the worst his oposition can dig up on him, he must be doing something right....

just goes to show you his mind set that spending beyond your income is ok. Another great example of a top notch leader :nono:

We have no options in BC this time. I may have to spoil a ballot.

I think you can't look at the candidates... you have to look at what the party stands for... both leaders are not likeable but you have to wonder who's going to spend your money the best... NDP just bought the teacher's vote today announcing 250 million over 3 years so that's a sure 60k votes... Conservatives wont' win cause people still think their voting conservative when they vote liberals in BC...

fiscally on the edge resession the NDP is going to cut you deep... look what happened during the Glen Clarke, Harrcourt and other days...the NDP causes their own ressions given enough time... they like to give money to minority groups, stop logging and anything that has a wif of hurting the environment and support their big union buddies and that's it..

I'd like to laugh and say good luck but what happens in BC affects everyone...

pretty bad when the people have to take the approach and pick the lesser of two evils to lead their government. Shouldn't the people deserve to have at least one politician that is honest, inspirational and a motivator??

And therein lies the whole problem with government, since the dawn of time :(

I have a hard time with politics because of how goddamn frustrating they are in a whole. I've voted every election I could since I was of age but it's getting harder and harder to tell who's actually good for the country and who's going to harm it. Lets face it, nobody is "in touch" with the average Canadian anymore (have they ever been?)

I agree to a certain extent and can understand 1, 2 or even 3 times but 11? Seems rather strange for me especially if they make above avg income with a 300 grand mortgage. Something not adding up.
