Good campsites along highway 5 on way to Kelowna

Pulling a travel trailer to Kelowna ina few weeks and looking for a nice campground along the way. Thinking Clearwater, Barrieire area. That 7 to 9 ish hour stop, traveliing from Edmonton. Suggestions?

Just looking to overnight, or somewhere to spend a bit of time? Clearwater has a few right off the highway and all are quite nice, Dutch Lake RV park is my favourite. Right on the lake, reasonable prices, nice restaurant on site, docks etc. KOA and Country Inn are nice too.

Barriere has some nice foresty sites on lakes if you are staying for awhile but no good for just an overnighter.

Anyone try the Pine Grove Campground and RV park by Barriere?

I know this is not exactly what you are looking for, but if it fits your schedule a short trip into Wells Gray park straight north of Clearwater is well worth it. Helmcken falls is nothing short of awesome, and there is a lot of other interesting things too. I can't help with the campsites.

I lived on the same street as pinegrove for the last 7 years, randy and martina are good peeps, theyll treat ya good

North Thompson Provincial Park. Beautiful spot where the Clearwater & North Thompson rivers come together. Just south of Clearwater.
