I think this is a great idea. I would suggest that it be in the Edmonton region, seeing that a majority according to the membermap, most S&M members are from the Edmonton region at this time. I also would be willing to visit potential sponsers for prizes, or any other tasks that may need to be taken care of.

Its a good spot , you could also go down the road to dorchester they have eighteen holes now I guess. Could camp at pigeon lake campgroung or right beside Black Bull for those of us who partake in beverages while playing.

Black Bull is a very nice and challenging course, I might recommend "Dorchester" which is 5 km down the road...if your considering Pigeon Lake, however I have to admit that somewhere close to Red Deer would seem to make the most sense. You won't be able to please a lot of the members (it will be date or location) but having a bit of the South/North rivalry is always fun. Even better if we could find a location with a campground close so those with trailers have the choice of having a few without driving home. My 2 cents worth...

Whispering Pines at Pine Lk is a nice little 18 hole with 4 campgrounds around the lake but they all book up early.
