Golden club membership - auto renew cancelled?

I purchased my club membership about two weeks ago but haven't seen anything arrive in the mail. To be honest I wasn't expecting anything for a bit anyway. However not long ago I received an email stating they have cancelled my auto renew. Anyone know if this has to do with the proposed provincial pass? The email says call the club if I have questions but I hate phones, I talk on them all day at work. Figured someone on here knows what's up.

Automatic Membership Renewal Issue

Some of you may who are signed on for automatic membership renewal have received an email today stating that your auto-renewal was cancelled. 

This was due to small membership fee increase to an increase in our association fees.

This is a good thing for you and your protection as a consumer. Your memberhsip will have gone through at the previous rate and the cancellation relates to the Oct 2018 renewal.

Ya I got the same email. Charges went through on my card so I'm expecting my membership to show up shortly.

Ya it's the silkstart program that bcsf has been using, seems broke more than not lol
