In all fairness, they F***ed around for 3 months. They didnt make it big, infact they made more money off the discovery channel contract then gold mining. I have been trying to watch it when its on but with work and school and such just dont got the time. Whenever i got time i go on s7icky.com and watch the episodes. Im glad to see that whinny *Femaledog* Dorsey go. In 3 months I could make more money logging and selling firewood than they did mining.

I agree i would only go with like 4 people i would never take the familys as its extra cost maybe less than 4 keep the out lay down.
It takes up air time so why not? we could make a show about.......
idk I guess we could do jack $#!+ in the woods for 3 months and call it season two.

I think its a awesome show. Glad that duechbag Dorsey is gone. I think that Jack is the next Ricky if he starts cursing some more. They will make bucks, no worries, who would put a show off about 5 families going broke and getting stuck in Alaska, not Discovery. Some insight from the website, they will bring a expert in there and make a Sh1t load of money

I think that they will fail this year... Not enough experiance combined between all of them !!! I f they had more $$$ (which they don't) and went back next year, i can then see them making something out if it... Hell if "IRT"
can have a couple of years running and a spin off "Deadliest Roads" I don't see why "Gold Rush" can't have another year..
