Goggles to fit over glasses

Maybe the thread already exists? What goggles are everyone using with their glasses? Any reviews? Are there any brands that are better for not fogging up?

My glasses fit nicely into my new SMITH I/OX goggles but I don't really bother to wear my glasses when I ride. The goggles themselves are awesome for not fogging up, but keeping your glasses clear is always a pain in the ass.

I know a couple peeps that wear prescription goggles if contacts aren't your cup of tea.

ive tried everything. including fans. I bought some 509 aviators and that real cold week we had I went for a rip at -35. no fogging. worked well. might go try them again tomorrow.

i use the scott OTG goggles with the fan, work not bad. don't drop them in the snow and they stay clear, always leave the fan running while wearing them though. battery lasts a long time, but the battery door is kind of mickey mouse.

I'm pretty sure Urban Optique next to Market Mall does. They carry Oakley product and other brands as well. There used to be a place called Hale Optical in Chinook Centre that used to do them as well. Not sure if they are still there though.

PROVUE - I have 2 sets of prescription - they are great - check them out - speedy service - good products - after years of fighting witg contacts and wearing glasses, this was the ticket.

I found the Scott provided goggles from Provue not very good at all. The foam is to soft absorbed a lot of persperation in turn this moisture kept the goggles fogged until i rode for a few minutes and enough fresh air passed through them. Even with the fan on high all time this condition occured. The way the battery pack mounted was crappy too ended up using a electrical tie strap to keep it from falling off. The only thing i liked was the Rx lense worked very well and had a great feild of view. If the Rx lense fit in another goggle i could at least salvage some of my money.

I could never ever use goggles with glasses, always fog up. The only way to go if you have glasses and are like me and things are not clear when riding without glasses is to go with the pro-vue goggles. I bought mine over 5 years ago online. I sent them my prescription and got the goggles with a few snap on polarizers in weeks. I did add the fan and it helps to clear some perspiration on days when helping out others when stuck. I always try to remove the helmet and goggles first though to avoid moisture beforehand when working hard to help get someone or myself unstuck.

Just have to search around for the correct frame, I managed to find some at riverside in the bargain bin a few years ago and installed my Rx lenses in them.

Here is the fan system by Habervision that I have in my goggles, it has settings for always on and a setting for detecting moisture and then turning on when needed automatically. Battery is integral on the goggles and not on your side strap.

I have 2 sets of habervision eliminators that I use. going to see if I can get the fan out of them to fit into other goggle "frames"

I found that with trimming a hair of foam off the sides of my sinister X5 goggles they fit over my glasses great. And i also run the 509 fan in my goggles and i dont have any fogging issues. The thing i hate about scott is like oh they havnt updated there over the glasses since like 1990..

Great to hear, I have had a set of Doo rechargable/electric googles and now have the BV2 electric visor helmet. After frick'n years of fogg'n with glasses, now have contacts, this is the full proof no fog solution. Thought I would have an issue with the cord but don't even notice it.

Maybe not the coolest or least expensive, but is it ever nice to ride fog free!
