Geez, with all the money you will save on my sled and Boost's, you will have enough to buy a trailer, may as well take em both...

Its not my fault you guys both like to keep up with the Jones' every season, especially you longhorn. I'm just trying to get a great deal on a sled you big bully.

HAHA...sorry to inform you, but Boost's has 100km and mine has 500km...Both are great deals, you save around 4-6k on either of them...Seems pretty darn fair to me. Now the fact that your budget is around 7k is not my problem. You cant have a 10k sled on a 7k budget, thats the bottom line, sorry.

There is no keeping up with the Joneses with me...I bought a sled last year with every intention of selling it and replacing it with another because I didnt get the one I wanted so I compromised and rode a different one instead. Now I am passing a large savings on to someone else so that I can get the sled I wanted but couldnt have last year.

Not a bully, just wont take a bigger loss than I have already committed to...

I guess no one realizes the depreciation value of these machines. It's pretty awful knowing that in a year or two your sled lost half it's value in the eyes of someone else..

I can't believe your selling it after 100km's thats mind boggling to me. Once the snow flies they'll sell real quick. Longhorns is worth 9k, boostgots is worth 10k, if he holds onto it for another season, it will be worth 9k.

Its just like a new vehicle, the second it leaves the lot or in this case hits the snow, it depreciates. Aftermarket parts usually get 50% of what you paid for them, unless its a turbo.

I have a written offer on my desk from the dealer for 9500 as a trade in...Just trying to make that elusive 500 bucks that you have been looking for all day LOL. I'll send you a pm when I sell it for 10k LOL

With mine at that price, it makes Boost's an even better deal, same price, more sled...I think you should look for some extra shifts and make boost a better offer and spend the season on a brand new sled...no fixin, pull and go!!

I thought you were supposed to be delivering some wood to a certain missus. I wish it was as easy as "picking up some shifts".

You know, with comments like that, it's understandable why guys wouldn't want to drop their prices for you. If a newer sled is not in your budget, then look for something older. After all if you drop all your money on the sled itself and don't have money to ride, maintain, and fuel it up... Wtf is the point? You're welcome to purchase my sled for $13800 cause to me, that's what it's still worth ;)

So we have a young guy who has worked his A$$ off to afford a sled of $6000.00. Then he's willing to cut out Christmas gifts for the family and go to $7000.00. Geez...all he did was make an offer with the money he had. It doesn't hurt to ask and the seller can say no. This does not warrant a pissing match. W2R is a good $hit.

If I had $7000 to spend on a sled at his age WOW, my life would be different. Give the guy a break! I'm sure he never went into this with the intent to "offend" anyone. He's trying to do the best with what he's got and hoping for a big break. He's too young to get all pissy and jaded.

Sheeesh..................

Hang on bud, there is no pissing match here whatsoever...W2R and I have been trading good spirited jabs for a number of days now, but a ton of them today...I agree, good guy, and if I could take a big loss to him I would, but I cant. All is good, and we will continue to trade jabs, cause its all in fun.

I do however respect the heck out of you for coming to his defense, but honestly not needed. He even called me a cheap @ss Jew today, and I didnt get offended LOL

And...I dont feel he has offended myself in any way, and I wont speak for Boost as I hate putting words in other peoples mouths...

Thanks for your input, but its all good here!

Okely Dokely!

I just remember those days myself. Work very hard for the money and have all sorts of hope for the big score. Dream all night about the sled that money's going to get you. Hope is good.

Thanks for clearing it up.

As you were...........

Found a 2010 700 RMK 155" 150miles, warranty till Nov 2011, for 7500. Get the Cat or the POO? (I already know Rysers answer).

Both are gonna work real fine, the 700 Poo is bullet-proof and will perform close to an 800. Really to me it comes down to handling. 2010 RMK has better suspension for the pounded out trails. Since the RMK is a 2010, that would be my choice...
