What you guys use to get your gear clean.

Made the mistake of pulling out a ramp before taking my orange klim jacket off.... Not good

Nope.... just buy new when it gets dirty.... It's been the Alberta way, guess this stuff is starting to matter now.

Not sure about sled gear with the materials and coatings but I've used brake cleaner on regular jackets. You may have to reapply tekwash for KLIM after though. Motorfist says use a mild detergent. HMK told me not to wash. Lol

Trina uses Mean Green on my Cat suit. Seems to work pretty good. That stuff takes grass stains and grease out of anything. Scrub, presoak and then wash immediately.

Chris, I'll provide a name this evening. Just checked Bev's stash of cleaning stuff and I don't know which one she uses. She is still in a deep sleep and I don't want to poke the bear so to speak! I have a yellow accented Klim jacket and she has the bright orange and they both come out spotless.

Sorry Chris, thought maybe you had an incident and pooped a little.

Spray nine or Simply Green works well on grease. Depends on if its grease or the black you get from rubbing against aluminum.

Okay, I'm back. A great day in the hills today.

Bev uses Melapower 6X (with improved stain fighting power). She puts the liquid on the stain and rubs it in and lets it soak. Then into the wash with the recommended amount and washes it. Comes out sparkling. Melaleuca is one of those "pyramid things" and probably somebody in the GBCA sells it. Great stuff and works wonders on the Klim gear.
