Getting a pipe and a clutch job from get torqed at somepoint before the spring anybody know what that will run me from get torqed? Looking at a full clutch and dyno/tune
Either an HMF swamp series Xl slip on with an hmf optimizer or an LTE slip on. And I was thinking QSC clutches or cvtechwhich pipe? and what clutches? what are you tuning with? are you getting a fuel tuner? need this info.. then i can ball park it.. i have known Kev before he even opened torqed and we tuned without a dyno in 08... now i have 30+ hrs of tuning and with all the visits there i have learned more and more each time...
Yeah I have heard about those STM secondary's are they really that great? And I like the sound of the HMF what's the PC tune?Kevin has more options than that....
there are better pipes that make more power even slip-ons that make more power than a full system.. depends on other mods thatyou do here too...
although the HMF is not a bad choice...
Kevin will probably talk you out of a optimizer.. they are not the real ticket.. they can only add fuel and not take away and they can't do a dual tune
there are other way better options like a PC
LTE is a nice slip -on too..
on the clutches, either or will do very well.. cvtech is easier to tune but if kevin is doing it on the dyno then it no problem.. its just that altiude does play a role in where your shift out will be at and that requires your self tuning.. you cant keep running to torqed to always get shift out right so the cvtech is the easier clutch to tune...thats what i run but qcs is a nice piece too...
i would match the primary with a STM secondary too..
if you do a slip on and tuner with a primary and secondary clutch with about half a day on the dyno it should run you between 2500 and 2800 bucks...somewhere there...thats with GST too, i would think...
