Roughly 5% of the population are making 250+K a year per household, which is an elite group. Your saying $250+K for one person, so that would narrow the percentage to maybe a few percent. If that were the case then you wouldn't have these sleds manufactured. They would be specialty orders that less than 5% of the population could afford.

In either case you are essentially saying that over 95% of the world should not participate in any sports, ever. So that is what 3% of the population are thinking. Wow.... I wonder if you understand that you making the point to support slavery.

Normally we expect the elite to have their own private discussion groups. Having yourselves appear to be the general public is misleading. I wish you guys would have made your views clear before and pin it at the top of the forum. I am just now realizing that I should have taken a left turn in Albuquerque. Instead I ended-up the new diet of Live Food for an elite playpen that 97% of the population have locked in a zoo to observe.

They have financing for the poor to keep the economy moving and you in debt and stuck in your dead end job. If you want to live pay check to pay check that is fine, buisness need people like that to work for them.

Until we start hiring robots then I'm not sure what you are going to do. It is my advise to think about that and your finances and not worry so much about that new g4.

One was on contract while the other had a guaranteed salary with every insurance imaginable. Considering the inflation over the past 25 years is roughly 155%, your $250 salary of today would have been a little over 160K on contract and maybe 80K on salary.

Everything on this G4 forum has been off kilter, oblique or rather eccentric that it has been difficult to understand where it all came from. It wasn't until the forum 'directors' who just recently explained their personal views that it began to make sense.

So it wasn't the new G4 that I was concerned with. I can only assume that since 250K is in your opinion the minimum salary to own a G4 850, then you are probably making twice that much or many times more. In that case I can see how your only concern is to jump on a new G4. The problem is that you are riding regular consumer sled. Your arguments would make some sense it this was a Ferrari, but the G4 is a Toyota. In your case you could afford to have most pieces made out of carbon fiber or to own a fleet of them.

The G4 can be bought today for under $8K and we have seen them in the $6K range. Consider the salary difference for the same skill set. The guy making half as much may have bought his G4 for half the price and could still afford the sport.

It should be pinned at the top of this forum that the vast majority of members on this G4 forum are part of an elite group of sport enthusiast. While it is not reserved to the elite, it is strongly encouraged to consider the views are from a different orbit then the rest of society. That way the middle class would understand early on that this was probably not the best place for them to hang out.

So a 250,000k job is only going to net you 150,000

That is why you should acquire assets rather than liabilities.

You should spend your time acquiring high income skills first, buy assets second, then maybe
think about having some fun.

In return for the advice in your field, I assume that you own a 2017 or 2018, or that you will soon receive a 2019. If that is the case and you wish to lower belt temperature more than what the new venting allows, you will need to correct (or have someone correct) the misalignment with shims for the engine mounts. If you wish to go a step further, then I suggest using a stronger countershaft that will better resist the inherent vibrations from the engine movement.

It is very much the same with what you described in personal finances. One way will reap a solid income. The same mindset will reap a solid riding experience. The other way is laced with politics promoting endless debates with how the system or sled will never work for you.
